J. Scott Redd
Dr. J. Scott Redd, Jr. is associate professor of Old Testament and Dean of Students at Reformed Theological Seminary, Orlando. He and his wife, Jennifer, and their three daughters, Mary, Naomi and Charlotte, moved from Raleigh, NC, where Scott served as the Director of Community Life at Christ the King (PCA) Church. Prior to moving to Raleigh, Scott completed his doctoral coursework in Semitic Languages and Literature at the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. During that time, he was a regular teacher and writer for the Adult Education and Youth ministries of Fourth Presbyterian Church in Bethesda, MD. Also during that time, Scott's interest in the global Christian movement led him to get involved in training Arabic-speaking church leaders at the Augustine Theological Institute in Malta (under the oversight of the Arab World Evangelical Minister's Association). Prior to moving to Washington, D.C., Scott and Jennifer lived in Orlando, FL, where he launched and supervised the Arab Language Project for Third Millennium Ministries, while earning his M.Div. degree from RTS Orlando. Scott met his wife Jennifer at the College of William & Mary during their undergraduate studies.
